Robert Helvey

In early 2024, Farmers & Merchants State Bank proudly welcomed Robert Helvey as Vice-President of Mortgage Lending. With over 25 years in the mortgage and banking industry, Robert brings expertise in sales, operations, and underwriting. A lifelong Wisconsin resident, he’s a proven leader known for innovative solutions, customer education, and community involvement. Robert is the Past-President of the Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association, an Ironman triathlete, and a UW-Whitewater graduate. He’s excited to enhance F&M’s mortgage services and help customers achieve their homeownership goals.

Chris Stanley

Chris brings more than 15 years of experience helping individuals and families navigate some of life's biggest financial decisions. Whether someone is purchasing their first home, building their forever home, or refinancing to meet new goals, Chris is passionate about making the mortgage process clear, straightforward, and stress-free.

Known for his approachable personality and honest advice, Chris believes banking is about more than loans—it's about building relationships that last. He enjoys taking the time to understand each customer's unique situation and finding solutions that truly fit their needs.

Before joining F&M State Bank, Chris built a successful, referral-based mortgage business by focusing on exceptional service, clear communication, and treating every customer like family. His background in both mortgage lending and insurance gives him a well-rounded perspective that helps customers feel confident throughout the home financing process. Outside of work, Chris enjoys taking cruise vacations with his family and spending quality time with his wife, son, and their Golden Retriever. He's also an avid Wisconsin sports fan and can often be found cheering on the Brewers, Packers, Bucks, and Badgers.

Erin Lynd

Erin joined the banking industry in 2022 as an intern while attending Lake Mills High School. After graduating, she continued building her career as a Personal Banker before transitioning into mortgage lending, where she now serves as a Mortgage Loan Assistant.

With experience in both retail banking and mortgage lending, Erin enjoys helping customers navigate the home financing process and providing friendly, dependable support every step of the way. She is committed to creating a positive experience for every customer and takes pride in building lasting relationships within the communities F&M serves.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys playing volleyball and golf, spending time with family, friends, and her pets, and volunteering at local community events.

Brad Chadwick

Brad Chadwick has been a valued member of Farmers & Merchants State Bank since 2007, bringing over 23 years of experience in the banking industry. With a strong focus on lending, Brad takes pride in helping individuals, families, and businesses navigate the loan process, ensuring they have the financial tools needed to achieve their goals. His expertise spans home purchases, refinancing, construction loans, and business lending, making him a trusted resource for his clients.

Beyond his dedication to banking, Brad has a deep commitment to giving back to the community. He is an active member of the Marshall Area Business Association (MABA), where he collaborates with local business leaders to foster economic growth and strengthen community ties.

Outside of work, Brad enjoys spending quality time with his wife, taking memorable trips to Hawaii, and making the most of life with his friends. At home, he shares his time with his beloved cats, who add plenty of personality to his days.
