Pedal Power in Lake Mills!
We’re excited to share Lake Mills Optimist Club Bike Rodeo — a fun and educational event that helps kids learn bike safety, build confidence, and have a blast on two wheels!
Join us Wednesday, May 7th at Lake Mills Elementary School, where kids ages 4–10 can test their skills on the course, get a helmet fitting, and even register their bike with the Lake Mills Police Department.
And a big thank-you to the Lake Mills Optimist Club for organizing this awesome event that brings safety and smiles to our community we love supporting events that keep our kids active, informed, and having fun!

Sand, Smiles, and Community Spirit
The Lake Mills Optimist Club Sandbox Fill was a sandy success! On Wednesday, May 15th, local volunteers delivered up to three wheelbarrows of sand straight to families' yards — all for free — spreading joy (and sand!) across the Lake Mills Area School District.
Huge thanks to the Optimist Club for organizing such a fantastic community tradition — here's to more sunshine and sandbox memories ahead!

Secure & Shred
Join our shred event to safely and securely dispose of sensitive documents! With the help of Pellitteri's industrial paper shredder, community members were able to shred up to three boxes or bags (50 pounds or less), all while supporting a great cause.
Proceeds from the event benefited the Jefferson County Humane Society, helping care for animals in need — and that’s something we can all feel good about.
