William (Bill) Campbell has been with Farmers & Merchants State Bank since 2001 and has served as the President and CEO since 2006. Since starting in the banking industry in 1983, he has personally assisted customers in a variety of roles including teller, personal banker & VP Retail Banking just to name a few.
He takes great pride in the development of the bank team and ardently supports F & M bank’s core purpose to be a financial Partner For Life and the mission to enrich financial lives with full service products and superior service.
When not at the bank or on a lake fishing, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenda and their terrier, Banjo.
Tim Gerdes joined the F&M team fall of 2021 and brings over 32 years of banking experience and knowledge. Tim’s current role as Executive VP also includes assuming the position of F&M’s Chief Financial Officer later in 2022. Tim has a BA in Business Administration with a major in Accounting and an MBA with a major in finance. It’s safe to say Tim enjoys all the financial aspects of his life - whether traveling out to his hometown in Vermont or playing golf, Tim is double-checking his scorecard and tracking receipts.
When not at work, Tim’s world happily revolves around spending time with his daughter.
David (Dave) Stronach has been a leader on the F & M team since 2002. As Senior VP of Commercial Lending, David oversees the bank’s lending staff. As a financial Partner For Life he has developed relationships with the business community by providing financing solutions to local business owners.
Dave is an avid sports fan and cheers for ALL the major teams from Wisconsin specifically the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the UW Badgers (and he has the team-wear to proudly prove it!)
Scott Cochems joined Farmers & Merchants State Bank in 2011 and has more than 20 years of commercial lending experience. As Senior Vice President of Commercial Lending, Scott is responsible for new business development and growing and maintaining the bank’s commercial loan portfolio while remaining a resource for local business owners. Scott furthered his education by graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at UW Madison in 2015. Scott is also an active member of his community’s Rotary.
Scott was born and raised in the Madison area, which gives him a great understanding of that local market. Scott enjoys the outdoors and cheering for the state’s sports teams.
If you’re looking for a Jack of all trades for Farmers & Merchants State Bank, Malinda Weisensel has done it all since joining the team in 2007. Whether it’s been assisting with maintenance and technology support or keeping up-to-date with the ever changing technologies, Malinda does her best to make things clear and understandable for everyone. She takes pride in being a problem solver, and uses her diverse skill set to make sure she finds the solution that is right for each customer.
Malinda and her husband Brett have been married for 18 years and have two daughters, Halle and Kennedy, and one dog. In addition to participating in the bank’s community activities, Malinda also enjoys coaching her daughters’ sports teams. Even though she grew up in Deerfield, she’s happy to live in Marshall, where she loves cheering for the Packers, the Badgers and her daughters’ sports teams.
Jena Bleecker serves at F & M as their compliance officer which means that she gets to keep everyone in line! On a daily basis she keeps up with the ever-changing rules and regulations of the banking industry. She attends multiple seminars, forums and webinars to accomplish this. She also audits all the different departments of the bank to make sure that those regulations and our own internal procedures are followed.
To Jena, being your “Partner for Life” means that from your first job to retirement, F & M has products and services that will help you through all of life’s stages. When combined with the personal customer service experience found a smaller institution, this makes our bank the only financial “partner” you will need.
In Jena’s free time you will find her relaxing by the lake with her husband and three kids at their cabin up north.
Brad Chadwick became a player on F & M retail team in 2007. He feels that his tenure has enabled him to understand the real meaning of being Your Partner For Life. He’s helped customers open their first Custodial/Youth account and checking accounts. He’s been able to help customers purchase vehicles and consolidate debt. He has mentored customers on how credit works and literally helped hundreds with the purchase or refinance of their homes.
Brad said that he is fortunate to share a customer’s excitement with them during their financial milestones.
Kyler Kabat joined the bank in 2013 as a Mortgage Lender and has since transitioned into a Commercial Lending role. Working with consumers and business owners has given Kyler the work experience to embrace the meaning of “Partner For Life”. It has allowed Kyler to focus on both the customer’s individual and business goals to achieve their long term success. Kyler recently joined the board of directors of The Lake Mills Main Street Program.
When away from the bank, you can find Kyler with his wife Jennifer and their two kids, cheering for the Badgers or hiking outside.
Nicki Kelly joined the F & M team during the first quarter of 2021 as Business Development Manager. She plans to provide exceptional client experience with financial solutions to meet our clients’ needs. Her goal is to inform, inspire and engage our communities by developing relationships that support our hometowns. With her focus on the client and doing the right thing, she will definitely make a positive difference as a financial Partner For Life.
She brings 16 years of legendary customer service. Her accomplishments include receiving the Rising Star of Madison Award & Hamptonality Award by Hilton.
Nicki is a local resident who grew up in our surrounding area. One of her favorite memories is going to Weiner & Kraut day with her family.
Heather Gretzinger provides support for all things human resource and operations at Farmers & Merchants State Bank. Her extensive background in customer service and teammate development pairs well and brings a fresh approach to policies and procedures.
Heather enjoys spending her free time “Up North” where she hits the snowmobile trails and creates memories with her family.
Justine has been with Farmers & Merchants State Bank since 2012. With over 34 years of banking experience, Justine has the knowledge and skill set to ensure the operations of the bank run as smoothly as possible. She also helps keeps the F&M team healthy and fit by leading up the F&M Health Committee. Ask Justine for her egg-bake recipe, you won't be disappointed!
While not at work, Justine enjoys spending time with family and friends at her lake cabin.
Autumn Rennhack has been a Universal Bankers for the bank since 2017 and assumed a lead role in December of 2019. She is fluent in retail products and is our expert in ID Theftsmart and ClickSwitch. During her time here she has helped in several events in the community school such as Marshall STEAM nights and Waterloo learning events. As part of the Marketing team she represented F & M during the Rivalry on the River events and has volunteered at the Marshall~Waterloo Food Pantry & Weiner & Kraut Day.
When Autumn is not at the bank she enjoys spending time with family, friends and her 3 dogs. She even bakes her own dog treats and brings them for our community dog lovers during the Relay for Life bake sales.
Stephanie Quimby shared that she feels that as part of the F & M family “Your Financial Partner For Life” means that we want every single customer to feel as though they are also a part of our bank family; we aspire to meet all the wants, needs and expectation that our customers have throughout their lifetime with us.
In her current role as a lead on the Universal Banking team she strives to be a great team player that helps anyway she can to make day-to-day work smooth and enjoyable.
Outside of work Stephanie enjoys capturing photos of life’s little moments, and snuggles with her handsome boy, Koopie (who’s a cat)!
