Bill Campbell has been with Farmers & Merchants State since 2001, and currently serves as the bank’s President and CEO. In his current role, Bill is responsible for overseeing the bank’s operations, especially in terms of being a resource for senior management. Bill has been in the banking industry since 1983, and has helped customers in a variety of ways, including as a teller, personal banker, loan officer just to name a few. Bill takes great pride in continuing to develop the bank’s staff to provide a better customer service experience.
Away from the office, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife, Brenda. They have a terrier named Banjo, and love cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers, especially the hockey and football teams. Bill is also an active member of the community, volunteering his time with the Marshall Scholarship Foundation and the Jefferson County Realtors Association. He is also a past member of the Lake Mills Fire Department.
William Hogan has been a member of the Farmers & Merchants State Bank team since 2004. In his role as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, William is responsible for making sure the bank’s finances are managed responsibly. He makes sure the bank’s resources are used wisely, from basic office supplies to monitoring the bank’s treasury management.
William has one son and one daughter. William cheers for the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the Texas A&M Aggies, where his daughter is currently a graduate student. William volunteers his time at the local food pantry. He is also a distinguished toast master and a green belt in karate.
David Stronach came to Farmers & Merchants State Bank in 2002. As Vice President of Commercial Lending, David oversees the bank’s commercial lending staff. He develops relationships with the business community to help expand the bank’s customer base while providing financing solutions to local business owners.
David is an avid sports fan, and cheers for all the major teams from Wisconsin, specifically the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and the University of Wisconsin Badgers.
Kim Abraham has been with Farmers & Merchants State Bank since 2002 and currently serves as the bank’s Chief Marketing Officer and Bank Manager for the Marshall office. Kim is responsible for a lot of things at the bank, including overseeing special events, developing relationships, cooking egg bakes or marching in local parades.
Kim and her husband Jeff are the proud “personal attendants” to Sweetness, a sheltie shepherd named after Walter Payton. Obviously, Kim is a huge Chicago Bears fan, and also cheers for the Blackhawks and Cubs. She is also a board member for the Waterloo Food Pantry, and is active in the Marshall Business Association, especially in planning special events.
A graduate of Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Barbara Hennessy has been with Farmers & Merchants Bank since 1994. As Vice President of Commercial Lending, Barbara helps business owners and farmers in Marshall and Waterloo find the right business lending or ag lending solution that will allow them to get started or continue to thrive.
Barbara is proud to live and work in Waterloo, and is involved with community causes that help keep the city strong. Barbara is active in the Waterloo Food Pantry and the Waterloo Carousel.
Brad Chadwick has done a little bit of everything since joining the Farmers & Merchants State Bank in 2007. In his current job as a mortgage lender, he is responsible for helping customers purchase or refinance their homes. He also helps customers with personal loans, opens deposit accounts and answers customer questions about bank services.
Brad loves animals, and has a few pets with his girlfriend. He volunteers his time with the Waterloo Dog Park, the Watertown Humane Society and the local food pantry. He also loves cheering for the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers.
Scott Cochems came to Farmers & Merchants State Bank in 2011 and brings more than 15 years of commercial lending experience to our team. As Vice President of Commercial Lending, Scott is responsible for new business development and growing and maintaining the bank’s commercial loan portfolio while remaining a resource for local business owners. Scott furthered his education by graduating from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2015.
Scott lives in Waunakee and is an active member of The Rotary Club of Waunakee. Scott was born and raised in the Madison area and has a great understanding of the local market. Scott enjoys the outdoors and cheering for the state's sports teams.
Joy Probst has been with Farmers & Merchants State Bank since 2003. She is currently the Assistant Vice President of Retail Banking and Business Banking Coordinator. Joy’s responsibilities include everything from opening new accounts for personal and business banking customers to helping connect business customers with cash management services that allow them to operate more efficiently.
With her husband Tom, Joy has two children and three grandchildren. She is active in several bank-supported causes, including Wiener and Kraut Day and the Marshall Fireman’s Parade. When it comes to sports, Joy loves to cheer for the Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badger football team.
Joining the Farmers & Merchants State Bank in 2013, Kyler Kabat currently serves as one of the bank’s mortgage originators. In that role, Kyler is responsible for helping bank customers find the mortgage option that will help them afford their dream home. Kyler recently graduated from Madison College with a degree in Finance.
Kyler married his wife, Jennifer, in 2014 and he is close with his parents and brother, Kaden. Kyler loves sports, especially the Badgers, and the outdoors where he enjoys camping, hiking and spending time on the water. Kyler is active as a leader in his church youth group and has participated in the Fort Atkinson Food Drive, as well.
